Job Description

You will be the Manufacturing Associate Manager (Level 4) for the Manufacturing team. Our team is responsible for leading supervisors, support staff, and machinists in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while driving safety, quality, cost, and schedule excellence.

What You Will Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead a team of supervisors, support members, and machinists to achieve core performance metrics.
  • Manage staffing activities including recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, and work assignments.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, production planning, maintenance, facilities, and ESH to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus.

Additional Information

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Desired Skills

  • Working knowledge of manufacturing systems including SAP and Apriso
  • Familiarity with Lockheed Martin policies and procedures
  • Experience in Material Requirements Planning
  • Experience in working with facilities teams and capital project management
  • Demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement/cost reduction activities
