We are looking for the right candidate to fill a Manufacturing and Fabrication - Utility position at our ductile iron fabrication facility in Bessemer/McCalla, AL. Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA and Company safety regulations, procedures, and housekeeping requirements
• Safely operate equipment to produce products that meet quality and specification requirements
• Ensure each piece, order, and project is completed correctly and on time
• Inspect and test products for compliance with industry standards and quality acceptance criteria
• Maintain accurate records of production, testing, and inspection
• Troubleshoot and correct issues with fabrications and equipment

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• A minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing, operations, or processing experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is a plus
• Ability to read and understand safety, quality, and process procedures, drawings, schematics, production orders, and standards
• Ability to use various measuring devices accurately
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other equipment
• Strong work ethic, a strong desire to learn, and commitment to customers, the team, and the Company
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Must be able to pass a drug screening

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, a team leader, and able to carry out and comply with Company policies and safety procedures. Attention to detail and a strong desire to serve the customer by producing quality products that meet all specified requirements, including on-time delivery, are essential.
