About the Role

The Manufacturing Utility is responsible for staging parts boxes, skids, racks, and other picked materials in a timely manner. Once staged, materials are signed off by a team leader. The role also involves organizing staging areas and returning empty dunnage.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift confidently, efficiently, and safely.
• Lift a minimum of 25–50 lbs.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Switch between tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of staging areas at the warehouse and plants.
• Organize, maintain, and update material delivery logs.
• Read and process written communication, including production schedules, RPO pick paperwork, and material delivery logs.
• Meet production goals and time deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Operate various lift trucks, radios, and equipment for hitching and loading materials safely.
• Perform forklift housekeeping and daily inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness on the pad, including debris pickup and dunnage organization.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (not required but preferred).
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• LCI Forklift License (provided upon hiring).
• 1–3 months of related work experience and/or training (preferred).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk and hear.
• Active role involving standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching, handling, and climbing throughout the day.
• Lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, and conveyor roller lines.
• Work in outside weather conditions across all seasons.
• Moderate to loud noise levels.
• Exposure to dust, fumes, gases, noise, heat, cold, and wet conditions.
• Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided: work gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, cut-resistant sleeves, and seasonal gear.
• Steel-toed shoes or boots with metatarsal guards (required but not provided).

Schedule

This is a full-time hourly position. Hours and days are based on operational and production needs, with some mandatory Saturdays.
