About the role
This position will work closely with the Manufacturing Engineering department and contribute to the company's Continuous Improvement efforts. The role involves developing and improving manufacturing processes through analysis of products and manufacturing methods, and monitoring activities to reduce costs while maintaining safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Study product and manufacturing methods to identify areas for improvement
- Monitor manufacturing activities to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new manufacturing strategies
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and promote safe work practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering or related field
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and tools
- Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
