Manufacturing Systems Engineering Co-op

About the role

Responsibilities

• Work with the Aftermarket Solutions team to remanufacture end-of-life or failed semitruck engines and transmissions.
• Explore the various parts that make up an engine and how they are maintained/reconstructed to give the customer the highest quality possible.
• Gain hands-on experience by working with operators, technicians, and engineers while trying to improve various manufacturing processes across multiple facilities.
• Complement your education by applying it to real-world scenarios.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program or higher from an accredited college/university OR have recently graduated within 1 year of the position start date (May/August).
• Must be part of a Co-Op Internship program through your current college/university and have the ability to start in August/September, 2026.
• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and create electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Competency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Competency in AutoCAD and NX.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills.
• Creative mindset.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Pay

Salary placement is determined by your anticipated graduation year and ranges between $21 - $29 per hour.
