My client is seeking an experienced Distribution Center Support Analyst to support the implementation, stabilization, and ongoing support of their new warehouse automation platform at their West Coast–based Distribution Center. This role will serve as a critical bridge between Operations, Manhattan Associates, Kardex, AutoStore, and other implementation partners to ensure a successful go-live, accelerated stabilization, and operational readiness through peak season. The position is an initial 4-month contract with a view to extend, fully remote, and may require occasional travel to Nevada.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Manhattan Associates, Kardex, and external vendors to support successful deployment of the DC automation solution.
- Coordinate implementation activities, testing cycles, cutover plans, and production readiness reviews.
- Drive issue identification, prioritization, escalation, and resolution during deployment phases.
- Support system integration validation across:
- Manhattan WMS
- Kardex WES
- AutoStore
- Conveyance and material handling systems
- SAP and upstream fulfillment platforms
- Ensure operational processes, exception handling, and inventory controls are fully validated prior to go-live.
- Lead daily hypercare command-center activities following deployment.
- Monitor operational KPIs including:
- Order throughput
- Pick productivity
- Inventory accuracy
- System availability
- Order cycle times
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective action plans for operational and system issues.
- Coordinate vendor resources and support teams to rapidly resolve production incidents.
- Develop and execute stabilization plans to achieve target operational performance.
- Serve as primary IT and automation coordination lead during peak season preparation and execution.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in warehouse operations, automation, supply chain technology, or distribution center implementations.
- Multiple successful warehouse automation or WMS implementation experiences.
- Strong experience with Manhattan WMS (Active WM, WMOS, or equivalent Manhattan platforms).
- Experience with automated fulfillment technologies including:
- AutoStore
- Kardex WES/WCS platforms
- Conveyor systems
- Material handling solutions
- Proven experience leading go-live, hypercare, and stabilization activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across Operations, Engineering, IT, and vendor teams.
- Experience supporting high-volume eCommerce, wholesale, and retail fulfillment environments is beneficial.
- Experience supporting peak season operations in large-scale distribution centers is beneficial.
- Prior experience with AutoStore/Kardex implementations strongly preferred.
Pay
Hourly rate: $115–$125 (Corp to Corp), flexible dependent upon experience.
