About the role
The Valley Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Managing Veterinarian | Medical Director to join their collaborative 2-doctor practice. They offer a flexible 4-day work week with no on-call and no weekends, a full-service small-animal veterinary medicine, and practice ownership opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations including patient care, staff management, and client communication
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to the veterinary team
- Manage the hospital's finances and budget
- Develop and implement hospital policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the hospital's visiting board-certified surgeons and veterinarians
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience as a veterinarian
- Board certification in veterinary medicine preferred
- Experience with digital radiographs, ultrasound, and electronic medical records
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Qualifications
- Current Colorado veterinary license
- Passport and valid driver’s license

Pay
Competitive annual base salary for Fulltime: $120,000-$160,000 plus production based on experience.
Schedule
Flexible 4-day work week with no on-call and no weekends, a regular schedule from 8:00 - 5:30 with a 1 hour lunch break, and a late option including 11:00 am - 8:00 pm (with 1 hour break) providing non-emergent care to our regular clients.
