Managing Veterinarian
About the role
You’ll partner with our Hospital Manager to elevate medical quality, guide an amazing team of cat whisperers, and steer the hospital toward even bigger success. And thanks to full support from NVA’s Divisional Leadership Team, you’ll have the training, coaching, and resources to lead with confidence (and maybe even a little swagger).
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Hospital Manager to improve medical quality and patient outcomes.
- Guide a dedicated team of cat-focused veterinarians and technicians.
- Steer the hospital towards continued growth and success.
Requirements
- MD/DO with current license in New York State.
- Experience in a feline-only setting preferred.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Current license in New York State.
- Experience in a feline-only veterinary practice.

Pay
$120,000–$150,000 base salary
Production bonuses
Generous sign-on $20,000+ relocation assistance for eligible MDVMs (plus assistance from our corporate relocation partner!)

Relocation
Relocation benefits are offered at NVA GP’s discretion and are available only for approved Managing Veterinarian roles within the following states: OH, WV, PA, MD, NJ, NY, MA, RI, CT, VT, NH, ME. Eligibility is dependent on distance moved, business need, and final approval from Talent Acquisition. Payment amounts and criteria may vary by role and are subject to change at any time. Relocation benefits are not available for local moves (e.g., short-distance moves within the same metro area).
