About the role

Gartner Consulting is seeking a Managing Partner to advise the country’s most influential organizations on technology strategies that directly enable business outcomes. This role operates at the intersection of strategy, technology, and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Advise at the highest level. Partner with senior executives to define technology strategies that directly enable business outcomes—growth, efficiency, innovation, and risk mitigation.
  • Turn insight into execution. Lead hands-on consulting engagements grounded in Gartner insights, helping clients move from “what should we do?” to “how do we make this real?”
  • Drive measurable value. Help organizations modernize platforms, rationalize applications, migrate to cloud, unlock data and analytics, manage cyber risk, and optimize cost and sourcing.
  • Expand account portfolio and drive revenue growth through strategic relationship development and consistently identifying and closing new opportunities.
  • Lead exceptional teams. Inspire, coach, and develop high-performing consultants who thrive on solving complex problems.

Qualifications

  • A proven background in a well-regarded consulting firm, balancing client delivery and revenue generation.
  • A strong foundation in technology problem-solving (architecture, analytics, engineering, or strategy roles).
  • Banking industry subject matter expertise, business capability and process expertise, and expertise in one or more of the core banking technology solutions.
  • Credibility across multiple IT domains—not just one “lane”.
  • A track record of leading teams with a strong collaboration mindset, influencing executives, and delivering outcomes—not just recommendations.
  • An intellectual curiosity and the confidence to adapt Gartner’s frameworks to each client’s unique situation.
  • The stamina and presence to juggle multiple senior-level client priorities without losing focus or quality.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
