RemoteRemoteLegal$185k–$235k/yrFull-time

About the Role

Manifest Law is one of the first AI-native corporate immigration firms in the country, built to offer the best of both worlds: the scale of a larger firm with the quality client service of a boutique. Our attorneys handle sophisticated, high-stakes matters, using technology that removes busywork rather than replacing the lawyer. Manifest OS—the technology powering the firm—carries the operational weight, allowing attorneys to focus on strategy, judgment, and client relationships. This is a firm for attorneys who want real ownership of their cases, meaningful client relationships, a sustainable pace, and a front-row seat in shaping a modern immigration practice.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a pod, owning everything it produces and everyone in it—across the full employer-immigration spectrum for corporate clients.
  • Manage client relationships directly where it matters most, setting the quality bar for attorneys in your pod.
  • Develop and coach attorneys in your pod: set standards, review complex cases, and help them grow to the next level.
  • Work with Practice Leaders to ensure pod-level quality and outcomes, meeting volume and quality targets as a unified team.
  • Retain and motivate talent so attorneys grow, perform at their best, and want to stay.
  • Set the pace and model Manifest’s values, driving tech adoption, speed, and innovation in your pod’s daily work.
  • Partner with firm leadership to grow the Manifest brand, align your pod with firm culture, and collaborate with the talent team on referrals and network-building.

Requirements

  • J.D. and active U.S. bar admission.
  • 10+ years of experience with deep expertise in employment-based immigration matters for corporate clients, including employer compliance obligations.
  • A track record of leading and growing attorneys, with a focus on team outcomes rather than individual caseloads.
  • Strong judgment on case strategy and quality—able to review work, identify weaknesses, and guide attorneys to improve.
  • Comfort in a high-cadence, high-growth environment.
  • Commitment to using Manifest’s AI tools as a performance multiplier and encouraging your pod to do the same.

Why Attorneys Join Manifest

  • Higher-agency work: Intake, document collection, status tracking, and client updates are handled by Manifest OS, freeing your time for strategy, drafting, and client-focused work.
  • No billable hour: Flat-fee pricing means no timekeeping or billable targets—your work is judged on outcomes, not hours logged.
  • Remote by design: The entire legal team works remotely, with no plans to change.
  • Real upside: Competitive pay from day one, with incentives tied to client outcomes and firm performance.
  • Ground floor opportunity: Join an ambitious firm building lasting infrastructure and shaping the future of legal practice.
  • Your experience shapes the practice: Attorney feedback directly informs the firm’s technology and processes, ensuring tools evolve to support how top lawyers work.

This role is open to candidates in the United States. The good-faith salary range is $185K - $235K USD, reflecting base compensation. Actual pay is determined by factors including location, experience, education, and skills, as well as the role’s scope. Candidates outside the U.S. may be compensated according to regional models.

AI in Recruiting

Manifest uses AI-powered tools to support administrative aspects of recruiting, such as organizing applications and surfacing candidate information. Some interviews may be recorded and transcribed using AI for note-taking, but these tools do not make hiring decisions or evaluate candidates. All decisions are made by the human recruiting team.
