Managing Director - Strategic Delivery Studio

Job Responsibilities

• Centralizes internal engagement and communication, reducing duplication and improving resource utilization.
• Presents ideas and solutions to IA internal leaders and internal teams, and interfaces with executive-level client stakeholders.
• Maintains strong relationships with key clients and identifies opportunities for deeper engagement.
• Oversees the scope of work, ensuring alignment with project budgets and timelines.
• Collaborates with project managers to monitor budgets and request additional services as needed.
• Advises on project work plans and resourcing strategies in alignment with design goals.
• Leads and mentors multidisciplinary design teams, providing creative guidance and developmental feedback.
• Assembles, hires, onboards, and cross-trains a diverse team.

Education, Work Experience, And Leadership

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited architecture or design program.
• 15+ years of experience in commercial interior architecture and design.
• Licensed Architect required.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional creative teams and driving business objectives.
• Proven ability to define and communicate vision for the studio, fostering an environment of open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect.

Industry Experience

• Comprehensive knowledge of commercial interior architecture and design.
• Experience with budget preparation, oversight, and creative team resourcing.
• Expertise in interior design principles, standards, and execution, including technical drawing and detailing.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
• Strong presenter, collaborator, and facilitator of ideas across teams and with clients.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The Managing Director works a standard Monday through Friday schedule, typically 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
