About the role

The Los Angeles Chargers are seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven partnerships professional to help shape and deliver innovative sponsorship solutions.

Responsibilities

  • You are a creative storyteller, problem solver, and passionate about creating meaningful partnerships that align with a prospect's goals and drives value for both the partner and the Los Angeles Chargers
  • Key team member in the partnership pitch process by collaborating with sales and internal stakeholders throughout discovery, ideation, and presentation creation
  • Aid in the go-to-market strategy process and create innovative ways to bring sponsorships to the market
  • Identify and provide meaningful, relevant data that supports the value proposition to assist in the storytelling of the pitch process
  • Build and maintain internal relationships and facilitate cross-departmental collaboration
  • Show strong analytical skills and experience across industry tools such as Scarborough, MVP Index, etc.
  • Keep a pulse on industry trends, innovative platforms, and emerging media opportunities

Requirements

  • Preferred minimum of nine (9) years full-time experience in a sponsorship sales, business development, solutions, activation, or experiential marketing position
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Digideck, Salesforce CRM, KORE and ClearSlide a plus
  • Knowledge of the sports industry and sports organizations with NFL experience a plus
  • Candidate with a working knowledge of the Los Angeles Market preferred
  • Must have strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Must be a team player and highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a highly driven self-starter
  • Ability to manage long-term projects and quick turnaround assignments
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
