About the role
Baker Tilly is seeking a Managing Director, Industrial Products – Managed Services to lead the strategy, growth, and delivery of our Managed Services offerings for the Industrial Products sector, with a primary focus on Dealerships and the broader Industrial Products ecosystem.
Responsibilities
The Managing Director will be responsible for shaping how Baker Tilly serves dealership clients by developing scalable service offerings, driving implementation excellence, and building long-term managed services relationships that deliver measurable business value.
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for Baker Tilly's Managed Services offerings within the Industrial Products sector.
- Build and expand differentiated Managed Services offerings that address the operational, technology, and business needs of dealerships.
- Lead the strategy for implementation services by establishing scalable methodologies, governance models, and best practices.
- Partner across Industry, Managed Services, Technology, Operations, AI Enablement, Offshore Delivery, and Growth teams to deliver an integrated, consistent client experience.
- Serve as the executive sponsor for strategic client relationships, providing trusted leadership, executive oversight, and proactive guidance throughout the client lifecycle.
- Drive business growth by identifying market opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, supporting business development efforts, and expanding existing client relationships.
- Establish scalable service delivery standards, KPIs, SLAs, and operational frameworks that improve quality, consistency, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Champion innovation by leveraging automation, AI-enabled solutions, and emerging technologies to improve service delivery and create long-term client value.
- Mentor and develop high-performing leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Industrial Products, dealerships, managed services, consulting, professional services, or technology-enabled delivery.
- Demonstrated experience working with dealership organizations and a strong understanding of dealership operations, business processes, and industry technology solutions.
- Proven success leading implementation services, managed services organizations, or recurring client delivery models.
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies and building scalable service offerings.
- Strong understanding of implementation methodologies, client onboarding, governance models, KPIs, SLAs, and operational excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to build executive-level client relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating across consulting, technology, operations, delivery, and business development organizations.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing engagement economics, scope, profitability, and client growth.
Pay
The pay rate range for this job position is $182,150 - $345,330. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements, and geographic location.
