Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in developing the Strategic Corporate Business Tax Services practice, which provides federal tax compliance, income tax provision and tax consulting services to corporate and flowthrough entities while serving as a strategic partner to the Chief Tax Officer and other tax management personnel
  • Direct tax compliance and advisory services for partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations for a variety of clients from Fortune 100 to emerging businesses
  • Build, manage, direct, and monitor multiple client engagements teams while maintaining active communication with clients to manage expectations and help ensure client satisfaction
  • Lead, participate in and contribute to market and business development activities external to the firm, including identifying and pursuing new clients and collaborating with KPMG's Audit and Advisory practices
  • Contribute to the growth, experience, and institutional knowledge of the Business Tax Services practice staff level team members

We are looking for a Managing Director to join our Business Tax Services practice. This role involves leading and managing a team of professionals who provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporate and flowthrough entities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in tax services and be able to develop and grow the Strategic Corporate Business Tax Services practice.

The Managing Director will play a key role in developing the Strategic Corporate Business Tax Services practice, providing federal tax compliance, income tax provision, and tax consulting services to corporate and flowthrough entities. They will also serve as a strategic partner to the Chief Tax Officer and other tax management personnel.

In addition to leading and managing a team of professionals, the Managing Director will be responsible for building, managing, directing, and monitoring multiple client engagements teams. They will also maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations and help ensure client satisfaction.

To succeed in this role, the Managing Director should have a high-performing, seasoned professional background in Business Tax Services. They should have experience in tax compliance and advisory services for partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations, as well as strong leadership and team management skills.

The Managing Director will also be responsible for contributing to the growth, experience, and institutional knowledge of the Business Tax Services practice staff level team members. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to lead and participate in market and business development activities external to the firm.
