Managing Director- 401K Relationship Manager
The Role
The Managing Director (MD) is entrusted with a book of business of defined contribution plans. The MD is the primary contact for the client and works in a team structure which is collectively responsible for managing, educating, resolving client issues, building relationships and meeting the needs of Plan Sponsors and Advisors.
Expertise And Skills You Bring
- College degree preferred or equivalent work-related experience.
- Series 7 and 63 required.
- 8 plus years of Relationship Management or Client Service experience; preferably within Retirement/401K industry.
- Your retirement plan record keeping and administration experience.
- Your relationship management experience.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You have excellent organization and time management skills and attention to detail.
- You have demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- You have effective presentation skills, influence and negotiation skills.
- You verify client agreement about the issues and options before implementing with solutions.
- You develop, manage and maintain strong client relationships.
- You build strong partnerships based on shared commitment to mutual goals.
- You set the strategic direction for the plan and demonstrate ultimate ownership and accountability for the client relationship.
- You act as the client’s 'trusted advisor'.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $79,000-153,000 USD per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
