About the role

The Capital Projects & Infrastructure Consulting team at Guidehouse is seeking experienced professionals with engineering and infrastructure delivery backgrounds, particularly those with deep expertise in project scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools
  • Lead client engagements and project teams
  • Mentor junior staff and drive results
  • Manage complex scheduling efforts across diverse infrastructure projects
  • Engage stakeholders and coordinate with owners, regulators, contractors, and community partners
  • Deploy and utilize scheduling tools, PMIS platforms, and delay quantification methods
  • Develop and track performance metrics and project reports
  • Lead one or more of the following areas: project scheduling and analytics, advanced schedule modeling, construction project controls, performance metrics, stakeholder engagement, project technology and systems

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • University degree
  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining project schedules
  • Proven record of leading client relationships and project teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%
  • US Citizenship may be required due to client needs

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (MBA, MS, MPP, MPA, etc.)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00 - $188,000.00. Schedule

The position may be eligible for a discretionary variable incentive bonus.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00 - $188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

What You Will Do

The Capital Projects & Infrastructure Consulting team at Guidehouse is seeking experienced professionals with engineering and infrastructure delivery backgrounds, particularly those with deep expertise in project scheduling. Team members work across a range of industries and project types including energy, transportation, and heavy civil and support clients throughout the infrastructure lifecycle, from early strategy and planning through construction, operations, and maintenance. A strong candidate should demonstrate mastery of project scheduling and controls within the capital project lifecycle (planning through maintenance and operations), and have a proven record of success leading client engagements and project teams. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to manage complex scheduling efforts across diverse infrastructure projects. You should be capable of mentoring junior staff, passionate about infrastructure delivery, and committed to driving results.
