About the role

The Law Offices of James L. Arrasmith is seeking a Managing Attorney licensed in California to oversee legal operations, supervise attorneys and legal staff, and help ensure high-quality representation across the firm’s matters.

Responsibilities

• Oversee legal operations, supervise attorneys and legal staff
• Supervise and mentor attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff
• Review pleadings and legal documents
• Oversee case strategy
• Monitor caseloads and deadlines
• Provide guidance on complex legal issues
• Work closely with firm leadership on staffing, workflow, training, and performance management

Requirements

• Strong litigation or civil practice experience
• Excellent legal judgment
• Prior experience supervising attorneys or legal teams

Qualifications

• License to practice law in California
• Experience managing legal teams and overseeing legal operations
• Strong leadership, accountability, and communication skills
• Practical understanding of legal practice and firm management
