Manager, UX Content Strategy - (HYBRID - ACTON, MA OR SAN DIEGO, CA)
Job Summary
The Manager of UX Content Strategy will lead a team of four Content Strategists, focusing on enhancing digital and mobile user experiences through effective language. This leadership role involves translating business and product priorities into scalable content strategies and frameworks, while collaborating closely with UX, Product, and Engineering teams to create cohesive, user-centered experiences.
Core Responsibilities
Define and drive UX content strategy across our core Omnipod 5 products, aligning user needs, business goals, and brand standards
Ensure consistency in voice, tone, terminology, and interaction patterns across the ecosystem
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of content strategists; set a high bar for quality and craft
Build team capability across UX writing, information architecture, and systems thinking
Support in refining our content systems and content governance (tools and template, voice/tone, standards, patterns, terminology, accessibility)
Partner cross-functionally (Design, Product, Engineering, Research, Marketing) to influence product and UX decisions
Embed content strategy throughout the product development lifecycle and drive stakeholder alignment
Guide prioritization, resourcing, and workflows to improve efficiency and delivery quality
Advance the content practice by championing best practices, accessibility, and inclusive design
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (Content Strategy, UX, Communications, English, or similar)
- 7+ years of experience in UX writing, content strategy, content design, or related field
- 3+ years of experience leading content strategy or content design teams
Preferred Skills
- Deep expertise in UX writing, content strategy, and/or information architecture
- Experience building and scaling content systems, governance models, and design system integrations
- Strong understanding of information architecture, taxonomy, and structured content principles
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Jira, and content management systems
- Experience in healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceuticals (minimum requirement is a highly regulated industry)
