About the role

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Manager, Technical Imaging Operations to join our team. As a Manager, Technical Imaging Operations, you will be responsible for managing the technical operations of multiple centers and integrated hospital partnerships, including overall planning, team member leadership, budget management, maintaining relationships with referring groups, and on-going customer service functions.

Responsibilities

This leadership role collaborates with the Director of Operations and Hospital Partner Imaging Services Management team on the overall direction and strategic planning required to meet quality and operational goals for assigned center(s). Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the technical operations of multiple centers and integrated hospital partnerships
  • Leading team members and managing budgets for technical imaging operations
  • Developing and implementing programs, goals, and objectives to provide quality care and maintain sound technical imaging operations
  • Analyzing operations and recommending best practice solutions and changes
  • Providing ongoing communication to management, hospital partner management, and team members regarding technical imaging and team member performance
  • Administering quality programs and meeting key quality and productivity measures
  • Maintaining a safe environment for patients, technologists, radiologists, and other team members

Team Member Management

Demonstrate strong leadership skills and abilities, remaining approachable and objective. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing hiring and retention processes, and providing initial and ongoing training for team members
  • Conducting team member performance evaluations, compensation, and development
  • Facilitating regular team meetings and one-on-one meetings with direct reports
  • Mentoring and supporting team members to encourage a culture of collaboration, systems excellence, and continuous learning
  • Creating and communicating clear role expectations, operating rhythms, and development pathways

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree and/or certification/license in a relevant field (e.g. radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine technologist, sonographer, registered nurse)
  • Five years of direct diagnostic imaging or nursing experience
  • One year of experience supervising or managing a team of direct reports
  • Ability to work extended or irregular hours and travel between sites
  • Proficient using Microsoft Windows and Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in health science, health administration, or a related field
  • Seven years of medical experience in an out-patient radiology imaging setting
  • Three years of experience managing a team of direct reports
  • EPIC systems software experience
