Manager Systems Administration 1

About the role

The Information Systems Manager 1 supports the Tampa site programs in developing and managing program activities across various active projects / programs. This role leads a team within the Tampa Engineering & Sciences (E&S) department, overseeing staffing, recruiting, training, performance reviews, and career guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team working within the Tampa Engineering & Sciences (E&S) department
• Coordinate programs for staffing, recruiting, training, and performance reviews
• Evaluate employees for promotions and salaries
• Assist employees in preparing performance goals and provide career guidance
• Provide systems administrative support to the team
• Support operational execution including network administrator coordination, deployment/sustainment activities, and policy adherence
• Partner with the program management office to ensure successful execution of projects
• Ensure the implementation of sustainable continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and implement a critical skills growth strategy

Requirements

• US Citizenship with Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance
• 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 3 years with a Master’s Degree
• Experience with U.S. Government contracts or defense systems
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Past experience leading teams of 6 or more

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Broad technical background across IT, software development, and cybersecurity
• The ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently solve problems in a fast-paced environment

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $95,000.00 - $142,600.00, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The position requires travel up to 10% of the time.
