Manager Surgery
Job Summary
As the Nurse Manager of Surgical Services, you will assist the Director in the planning, administering, and evaluating the operations of the Operating Room. Responsibilities include role modeling and sustaining patient and family-centered care, directing staff, sharing accountability for standards and scope of nursing practice, working with the Director on department staffing, and developing and communicating a shared vision for the department.
Qualifications
- Current Utah nursing license in good standing
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification within 30 days of hire
- CNOR required or obtained within twelve months of hire
- Two years clinical experience in the operating room required
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Previous sterile experience preferred
