Job Summary

A Clinical Manager (RN) position is available at UP Health System - Marquette, offering a full-time exempt role with days of work. The position is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus based on meeting eligibility requirements.

About the Role

As a Clinical Manager (RN), you will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic plan and vision of the organization. You will assist in developing departmental goals, standards, and objectives, manage staff relations, perform and oversee scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements. Additionally, you will monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations, determine and justify needs for equipment and supplies purchases, and coordinate patient care services.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
  • Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
  • Maintains departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
  • Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversee proper working order and/or stock supplies.
  • Affirms and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
  • May provide patient care when necessary.
  • Cultivates an environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

Requirements

  • State of Michigan RN license.
  • Associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Two (2) years nursing experience.
  • Seven (7) years managerial experience (preferred).

Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year or transfer.

Skills

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Pay

$100,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
