About the role

The Enterprise Payments organization sits within the Retail bank and is at the heart of our company’s financial infrastructure, supporting the most critical domains of payment processing. We are driven by our commitment to ensure flawless execution, regulatory compliance, and deliver innovative products that shape the future of payments. In addition to our core payments processing, we provide oversight for end-to-end payment strategy, operations, and risk management for all payment types across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate AI Adoption: Drive awareness, adoption, and effective use of enterprise AI capabilities across Enterprise Payments.
  • Connect Enterprise Payments to Emerging Capabilities: Serve as Enterprise Payments’ primary liaison to enterprise AI, technology and innovation teams, ensuring associates and leaders have access to new tools, pilots, and best practices.
  • Design Leadership & Capability Experiences: Lead targeted associate development experiences, leadership forums, and capability-building programs that strengthen leadership effectiveness, AI readiness, and organizational capabilities.
  • Drive Innovation & Industry Engagement: Bring external perspectives, emerging trends, and industry insights into Enterprise Payments.
  • Shape Future Ways of Working: Identify opportunities to improve productivity, simplify processes, redesign workflows, and leverage emerging technologies to improve productivity and organization effectiveness.
  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Drive cross-functional programs and special projects aligned to Enterprise Payments priorities.
  • Measure Impact: Track adoption, engagement, and business outcomes to continuously improve programs and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate curiosity and passion for innovation, emerging technologies, and new ways of working.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Military experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, Strategy, or Chief of Staff.
  • At least 2 years experience with Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
  • At least 2 years experience working with Generative AI tools.

Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to drive AI adoption and effective use of enterprise AI capabilities.
  • Experience in connecting organizations to emerging capabilities and bringing external perspectives into the organization.
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering leadership development, capability-building, or organizational enablement programs.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.

Pay

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

  • Mclean, VA: $151,900 - $173,400 for Manager, Project Management

Schedule

This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend 3 days per week working in office and the remainder of the week working virtually.
