About the role
The Enterprise Payments Manager, Strategic Intent & Change Management role is within the Program Management Office (PMO) of Capital One, a leading financial institution. This role focuses on managing the Strategic Intent and Change Management function, ensuring the successful execution of high-priority initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Execute planning and prioritization processes for key leaders and stakeholders
- Lead a high-performing team of project and process managers to deliver business-critical strategic and cross-functional initiatives
- Manage resource capacity planning exercises for Enterprise Payments in collaboration with key business partners
- Oversee large-scale change management processes to ensure operational readiness and mitigate organizational risks
- Communicate plans, viewpoints, and trade-offs effectively both in writing and orally
- Engage with key leaders and stakeholders during the planning and prioritization of critical enterprise payments initiatives
Requirements
- At least 3 years of project management, product management, or program management experience
- At least 3 years of people leadership experience
- At least 3 years managing stakeholders across business functions
- At least 2 years of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
- Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
- PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification
- At least 5 years in people leadership experience
- At least 8 years of project or program management experience
- At least 3 years of banking payments experience
- At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal and external stakeholders
- At least 2 years of product or tech experience
Benefits
This role is hybrid, with 3 days per week spent in the office and the remaining time working remotely. The base salary range for this role varies by location, ranging from $138,100 to $173,400 annually for a Manager, Project Management position. The role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and long-term incentives (LTI).
