Manager, Software Development & Engineering

Job Duties

• Work closely with architects and business partners for defining Agile stories for new capabilities
• Perform thorough designing reviews and code reviews
• Provide technical direction and support to the rest of the team
• Provide hands on coding, unit testing and production issue solving
• Lead design and implement new stories and bug fixes
• Participate in product roadmap discussions and long-term planning for the team
• Develop tools and practices that will increase the efficiency of the team
• Mentor junior staff in the team and helping them reach their career goals
• Partner with fellow developers, product owners, technical leads, and architects

Job Requirements

• Requires Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field and 60 months of experience in a related occupation (60 months of progressive, post-bachelor's experience with a bachelor's or 48 months with a master's)
• Experience must include 48 months of experience involving the following: Java 8+ and .NET; Spring boot, Spring, EJB, Struts, or Hibernate; Solr, Zookeeper, Kubernetes, Openshift containers, or VMWare; Oracle, SQL, Mongo, Cosmos, h2, Postgres, or PL/SQL; and Cloud Technologies AWS, GCP, Azure, or Openshift

Pay

Starting compensation depends on related experience.
