About the role

The Manager, Applications & Software Engineering at TRIMEDX leads the Application & Software Engineering teams to ensure robust technical infrastructure and software applications support business capabilities. This role oversees the development, testing, implementation, and support of software, managing project schedules and tasks within an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Coaches team on problem resolution to prevent roadblocks
• Sets project schedules, designing project parameters and monitoring tasks
• Defines and develops tasks among team members within an agile environment
• Translates technology concepts into clear, digestible business appropriate language
• Communicates and collaborates with leadership and vendor executives on status, issues and decisions to influence outcomes
• Leads team in making critical decisions that define the direction and impact the related business units
• Provides clear direction to ensure collective achievement of goals and objectives
• Creates an environment of respect, collaboration, and open communication
• Identifies and supports development needs of direct reports and team members
• Ensures associates complete assigned actions by required deadlines
• Facilitates the definition and approval of service descriptions, service-level agreements, and operation-level agreements for the services owned
• Reviews key metrics and reports to assess and enhance overall service performance
• Supports the deployment of new functions/applications into the Production environment
