Job Summary - Manager Social Media Corewell Health is seeking a strategic and creative Social Media Manager to help shape how our organization shows up across today’s fast-changing social media landscape. This role is ideal for a modern social media leader who understands how to create human, useful and platform-native content that earns attention, builds trust and supports business priorities. The Social Media Manager will lead a team responsible for organic content strategy and execution across priority platforms, partnering with key stakeholders to tell compelling stories. The manager and team will use audience insights, channel expectations, algorithmic signals and performance data to improve reach, engagement, trust and action among followers and relevant non-follower audiences.Supports the appropriate director in developing, implementing and managing the corporate communications function for the organization. Responsible for external and internal communications and possibly marketing initiatives intended to engage consumers and employees based on strategic marketing communications objectives for internal clients. Demonstrates expertise and skill in developing strategic, integrated marketing and communication solutions and implementing a variety of marketing and communications tactics for internal and external audiences. Coordinates messaging across a variety of platforms. Develops strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Responsible for project management, vendor management, communications and marketing planning, and team development.. Manages and provides leadership to teams within System Communications & Marketing to develop plans that help accomplish goals and tasks. Essential Functions - Manager Social Media Supports the appropriate SC&M director in developing, implementing and managing the marketing and/or communications function for the organization.Manages and provides leadership to marketing and communications team to help accomplish goals and tasks. Facilitates the training and continuing education of employees. Provides direction and support to subordinate employees to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Selects, trains, develops, and evaluates subordinates and initiates personnel actions in accordance with departmental policies and organization philosophy.Manages and coordinates system and service line messaging for external and internal audiences across a variety of platforms based on the objectives of specific communications and marketing plans. Platforms may include Corewell Health website, InSite, social media, corporate publications, advertising and marketing campaigns, public relations and event communications.Participates in coordination and management of plans for 360-degree audience outreach based on objectives set forth in specific marketing and communications plans. Must be a team player with excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.Anticipates client needs, identifies opportunities and solutions, customizes as appropriate matching resources to needs, as well as researches and resolves problems. Manages time lines and budgets as appropriate for department, product, and/or service line, ensuring operations are managed within established guidelines. Supports system and hospital branding and image initiatives. (Expert level)Measure the success of marketing and communication activities with data. Utilize the analytics and consumer insights to inform new activities. Hold team accountable to key performance indicators. Implements strategy and execution on human centric design and analytics.
