Manager, SAML Core Facility

About the role

The Manager for the OU Sooner Advanced Manufacturing Lab (SAML) core facility is responsible for the day-to-day organization and coordination of SAML. This role works closely with the Faculty Director, researchers, and key stakeholders, internal and external.

Responsibilities

• Manage access coordination, logistics, and event setup
• Oversight of the hauling, delivery, and inventory of supplies and materials
• Act as liaison to Facilities Management
• Respond to building issues such as power outages
• Provide technical expertise to faculty and students
• Aid in event planning and class presentations

Requirements

• Bachelor degree
• 36 months minimum of experience in facility management or project management
• Valid Oklahoma Driver's License or ability to obtain within 30 days from hire date

Qualifications

This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 36 months of relevant experience in facility management or project management. Equivalency of 48 months of related experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
