Your mission
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager, Sales - Financials, to lead our new logo acquisition team. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive revenue growth through both commercial and enterprise sales channels within the financial sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building high-performing teams and closing complex deals in the healthcare industry.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals focused on acquiring new financials customers
- Set clear performance expectations, provide coaching, and conduct regular performance reviews
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve new logo acquisition targets across commercial and enterprise segments
- Identify and prioritize target accounts and market opportunities within the financial sector
- Drive pipeline generation and management to ensure consistent revenue growth
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to optimize the customer acquisition process
- Own and exceed quarterly and annual new business revenue targets
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with financial organizations
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts with both commercial and enterprise healthcare clients
- Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting on sales activities and pipeline health
- Stay current on healthcare industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape
- Understand the unique needs and challenges of financial organizations
- Leverage industry knowledge to position solutions effectively and build credibility with prospects
What You'll Bring To The Team
- 7+ years of B2B sales experience, preferred financial, with at least 2 years in a sales management role
- Proven success in new logo acquisition across both commercial and enterprise segments
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and scale high-performing sales teams
- Strong understanding of complex sales methodologies and consultative selling approaches
- Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including key stakeholders, buying processes, and regulatory environment
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Travel 20%+, role open to location/remote
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with financial IT, or other financial services solutions
- MBA or relevant advanced degree
- Existing relationships within the finance industry
