Job Summary

GoldBook Financial is seeking a full-time, on-site Vice President of Sales Management (Sales Manager) for La Jolla, CA or Scottsdale, AZ.

About the Role

Our sales manager’s role is a hybrid position and can retain ownership of a book of business and maintain personal production. The role focuses on ensuring sales growth by recruiting, developing, and leading a team of financial advisors to meet annual production targets from the sale of protection and investment products, financial planning, and wealth management services.

Responsibilities

• Engage in front-line recruiting of financial professionals.
• Coach, mentor, and supervise new recruits.
• Develop and grow a production unit with an emphasis on retaining for success.
• Establish networks and cultivate referrals to generate a steady stream of candidates.
• Broaden and deepen your skillset through ongoing professional development and joint work with fellow associates.

Requirements

• Must be able to work and commute to each office.
• Proven experience and success in the sale of protection and investment products. And/or management of a successful sales team selling protection and investment products.
• FINRA licenses: 7 and 66, 63 or 65.
• Life, Accident and Health Insurance license.

Pay

Please note the salary range posted is an estimated range. Actual minimum compensation will be determined by years of experience, personal prior production, and/or team production if currently in a sales manager role. Total compensation will also include commissions, overrides, bonuses and a robust benefits package.
