About the role
Seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee a hospital unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Creating a safe, efficient environment by supervising nursing and ancillary staff, coordinating daily operations, and leading team activities.
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care and communication.
- Monitoring clinical outcomes, compliance with regulations, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
- Recruiting, coaching, evaluating staff, and fostering a positive, open communication culture.
- Managing staffing needs, scheduling, and resource allocation to maintain optimal workflow.
- Participating in emergency preparedness, patient throughput, and operational safety measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required); Master's preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the state.
- Minimum of five years' clinical experience, with leadership experience preferred.
- Certifications in CPR/BLS (required) and specialty areas or nursing administration (preferred).
