Manager, RN - Full Time - Day Shift

About the Role

The Nurse Manager creates a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment by supervising nursing and ancillary staff, coordinating daily unit activities, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a skilled, motivated team; manages staffing, performance evaluations, and staff development.
• Ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards; promotes open communication and continuous improvement.
• Coordinates patient care through daily rounds, effective communication with physicians and staff, and timely care plan adjustments.
• Manages staffing needs, schedules, and workload distribution to optimize unit operations.
• Monitors clinical outcomes, investigates issues, and implements strategies to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
• Assists with emergency preparedness and maintains a safe, operational environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required); Master's preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.

Skills

• Preferred: CPR/BLS certification, specialty or nursing administration certification, leadership experience, and acute care nursing background.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
