About the role
I Am Boundless is hiring a Residential Manager - PRTF. Boundless is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Behavioral Health Conditions. This position plays a crucial role in providing and supervising direct programming and support services.
Responsibilities
- Provide and supervise direct programming and support services for individuals with complex needs, including those with intellectual/developmental disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral health conditions.
- Ensure services are delivered in alignment with the company's mission, vision, and values.
- Work with individuals, employees, a multidisciplinary team, and parents/guardians to advocate for individuals' needs and ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
- Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Human Development, or related field, OR at least 3 years of experience in social services, residential services, or with people with behavioral health conditions, autism spectrum disorder, and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities.
- Must be able to lift, bend, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to obtain and maintain certification in and perform physical crisis management intervention as needed.
- Ability to obtain and maintain certifications in First Aid and CPR - adult, child, and infant; delegated nursing.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including electronic health record, spreadsheets, and word processing tools, and ability to learn new programs expeditiously.
- PREFERRED Education and Experience:
- One year of supervisory experience.
- One year of experience in residential programming.
- Two years of experience working with people with behavioral health conditions, autism spectrum disorder, and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
