Facilities Manager

About the Role

The Facility Manager oversees daily operations of a 3,800 sqft ICD 705 accredited facility, ensuring compliance with safety and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct facility infrastructure, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems such as chilled water, power, backup generators, fire suppression, and RF-shielded security doors.
• Plan, schedule, and document preventative and corrective maintenance activities, coordinating with support contractors.
• Implement organizational policies and collaborate with multiple teams to maintain uninterrupted facility services.
• Coordinate with service providers and engineers to resolve complex facility issues affecting operations.
• Assist with security matters, including escort duties within secure areas when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or related field with a minimum of 10 years in facilities management; 15 years experience without a degree.
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems and formal document approval processes.
• Preferred: PMP certification, experience with NAVFAC or DoD agencies, MIL-STD protocols, and MEP expertise.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Physical & Other Requirements

Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time, with occasional movement within the office for communication, file access, and presentations.
