Essential Responsibilities
- Provide oversight to the counseling services and facility operations within the Residential Programs
- Provide individual and/or group supervision to the residential staff members including the Residential Advocates, Residential Supporters, maintenance personnel, and interns
- Lead and support conflict-resolution efforts related to personnel, resident concerns, and emerging operational issues, promoting a constructive and solution-oriented environment
- Work in conjunction with another Residential Manager and administrative team to engage in strategic planning and program enhancement to ensure that Residential Programs are trauma-informed and holistic in scope
- Implement strategies and structures that address vicarious trauma, vicarious resilience and self-care among staff
- Work in collaboration with peers in non-residential programs to support streamlined programming across all client services programming
Facility Operation
- Monitor and convey program issues, needs, and trends to the Director and collaborate on appropriate responses
- Engage in ongoing assessment of staff training needs and case conference and supervision structure
- Cover physical plant audits semi-annually to ensure city and state compliance
- Oversee city, state and funder audits
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work, mental heath, or related human services field
- SIFI Certification a plus
- Deep commitment to the mission of the organization
- One to two years of supervisory experience in working with domestic violence, human trafficking, crisis response, and/or the Asian communities
- Strategic thinking, skills in program planning and evaluation
- Great written and verbal communication skills to individuals and small groups
- Comfort and familiarity with computer
- Ability to exhibit personal responsibility and commitment to work; follow-through and accountability
- Ability to solve problems and exhibit a positive attitude while dealing with challenges
- Cultural sensitivity a must
- Humility and openness in approach to work
- Ability to speak an Asian language preferred
Work Schedule
Womankind currently is operating in a hybrid model. The Client Services department is asking staff to come in 3 days a week.
Compensation
