Manager - Rehabilitation Services

Summary

The Manager - Rehabilitation Services role is responsible for overseeing daily operations of inpatient and outpatient Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, and other department services, providing leadership to department staff, and ensuring safe and quality patient care. This position is accountable for accreditation and regulatory compliance of therapy services, clinical competence of staff, and financial health of department. The Manager collaborates with the Regional Director to maintain efficient workflows, support staff development, and ensure adherence to hospital policies and evidence-based practices.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy required.
• License/Certifications: Current state licensure in physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy required.
• Experience: Three years of clinical experience in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech‑Language Pathology required and experience in a hospital setting preferred. Leadership experience preferred.
• Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of leadership, care team, providers, vendors, and state/regulatory agencies.
• Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Demonstrated leadership competencies including change leadership, performance management, strategic thinking, and team development.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $113,360.00 to $153,379.20 per year. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE). In addition to base pay, MaineHealth offers comprehensive benefits, recognition programs, career growth opportunities, and, where applicable, shift differentials or other incentives. Any offer of employment will depend on qualifications such as skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and other job-related factors. The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.
