Manager Regional Sales
About the role
The Manager Regional Sales and Senior Sales Director positions at Energy Systems are dedicated to driving sales success and fostering a high-performing team environment. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, these roles are instrumental in achieving the company's sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Selects, coaches, and develops the team, setting objectives that align with company strategy to inspire and motivate the team.
- Manages organizational talent through performance management, succession planning, and development.
- Designs and directs processes for recognizing team and individual performance, delivering consistent feedback, and improving performance.
- Advises sales representatives on their current deals, reviews customer activity, anticipates consumer needs, and improves customer satisfaction.
- Establishes and maintains key customer relationships, regularly joining sales representatives on sales calls.
- Ensures the proper use of CRM databases and tools to track performance, optimizing the sales process and tactics.
- Maintains awareness of market trends and provides regular competitor analysis.
- Builds strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders, locating opportunities to expand the client base.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a business or engineering related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Sales Leadership position.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in a direct selling role.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in a business-related field preferred.
- Additional 2 years’ experience in a Director of Sales Position preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.
- Strong working knowledge of the company’s products, competitive products, and the market.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills with the ability to be hands-on.
- Working knowledge of business enterprise systems (e.g. FieldServio, SAP, ADP, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.

Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
