Manager Radiology
Job Duties
Provides logistical coordination and planning and defines goals for team members.
Audits, controls work processes, and establishes quality control systems.
Maintains an ongoing assessment and improvement program.
Keeps team members informed about the group process, shares all relevant or useful information, and values team members' input and expertise.
Monitors progress of projects and initiatives, and the overall performance and participation of the team, in quality improvement activities.
Measures progress towards and/or deviation from project/production goals.
Develops workable cost-effective plans to improve operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Technical School Diploma or Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree Business or Healthcare related field
- 3 years management experience or 3 years healthcare related experience
- Ability to think logically, sequentially, and understand redesign concepts
- Ability to plan and organize time and resources efficiently, resistance to stress
- Ability to train technical staff to provide appropriate care/treatment
- Ability to influence and develop others, and foster teamwork
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania RT - Registered Technologist Radiology - State of Pennsylvania
- Upon Hire or RDMS - Reg Diagnostic Medical Sonographer ARDMS - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire or CNMT - Certified Nuclear Med Tech NMTCB - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire or RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree Business or Healthcare related degree
- Physical Demands: Lift and carry 40-50 lbs., frequent to continuous standing/walking, patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift
