Overview

Texas Oncology is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to support the Frisco Market, which includes 7 different sites. This is a full-time Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm position with no weekends or major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmacy operations to ensure pharmacy requirements are met.
• Oversees department job functions and ensures department operates within budget.
• Establishes and implements departmental policies and procedures.
• Initiates and follows quality assurance and safety policies and procedures.
• Consults with physicians and other clinicians to provide expertise on all pharmacy related issues.
• Analyzes and reports pharmacological and disease management information.
• Provides hematology/oncology clinical analysis expertise to physicians and clinical staff.
• Counsels on pharmacoeconomic and outcomes research.
• Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Minimum five years’ experience as a registered pharmacist, with at least two years prior supervisory and management experience.
• Five years’ experience in a pharmacy with I.V. skills.
• Oncology background preferred.
• Prior experience in pharmacy management.
• Must possess current Texas Pharmacist license.
