About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital, you’ll focus on risk/CMS data management, claims management, and education components of the facility’s risk management program. You will ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation agency risk management standards, establish and coordinate Patient Safety education initiatives, and collaborate with facility leadership to address patient satisfaction opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage risk/CMS data and claims to meet regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Develop, coordinate, and manage Patient Safety education initiatives for new employees, current staff, visitors, and clinical students to improve patient satisfaction and reduce liabilities.
  • Collaborate with facility leadership and committees to address complaints, grievances, and concerns, identifying opportunities for patient satisfaction improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between departments to ensure compliance and effective risk management practices.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related clinical and/or risk management experience.
