Manager on Duty (MOD)

About the role

As a Manager on Duty (MOD) at Rising Tide Natural Market, you’ll be the point person for both customers and staff. In every interaction, you’ll bring a warm, engaging tone, whether you’re assisting customers, supporting the deli or cashiers, or managing the sales floor. This is a great opportunity for someone with leadership qualities who enjoys people and wants to grow within a fun, community-focused independent natural foods store. Knowledge and interest in natural and organic foods is a plus, but curiosity and a willingness to learn is most important.

Responsibilities

• Give every customer a warm welcome and helpful, attentive service
• Serve as a reliable resource for customer and staff questions
• Support team members by giving breaks and assisting departments as needed
• Help lead, guide, and motivate employees throughout your shift
• Accurately shop, prepare, and complete online orders
• Complete all MOD checklists and shift responsibilities
• Jump in, solve problems, and help keep the store organized and running smoothly

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and experience working with the public
• A positive, open, and helpful approach to the work of the day
• The ability to juggle multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure
• A collaborative attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Evening availability, including at least one weekend evening

Pay

$20 per hour
