Manager of Strategic Policy and Legislative Affairs

On-siteOTHRFull-time

Why this Opportunity Stands Out

High-Impact Policy Leadership — You would shape how new laws are understood, implemented, and communicated, directly influencing operations across the Clerk’s office. Few roles offer this level of ownership over legislative analysis and strategic policy direction.

Strategic Planning Authority — You lead the development and monitoring of an organization-wide strategic plan, giving you a central role in defining priorities, aligning departments, and driving long-term outcomes.

Cross-Functional Visibility — The position works closely with Executive Leadership, justice partners, county officials, and statewide commissions. This provides exceptional exposure, relationship-building opportunities, and influence across multiple levels of government.

Project Ownership from Concept to Completion — You don’t just analyze issues—you drive initiatives. From task force efforts to research, you lead projects that have real operational and community impact.

Statewide Representation & Collaboration — Representing the Clerk’s office at the conferences positions you as a key voice in discussions, while facilitating the Odyssey Counties Consortium allows you to shape best practices across Florida.
