Manager of Outreach and Enrollment - Family Health - Hybrid Work Schedule - Anchorage, AK Based

Responsibilities

  • Manages and oversees operations for outreach and enrollment.
  • Provides strategic direction, goal-setting, and performance measurement of the department and staff.
  • Counsels on the operational and financial performance of the revenue cycle services, ensuring stewardship of the organization’s resources.
  • Ensures ongoing assessment/analysis of operating results and facilitates processes that eliminate duplicate resources.
  • Suggests appropriate actions to achieve established objectives.
  • Manages and develops the operating and capital budgets for the areas of direct responsibility.
  • Presents financial performance reports to Senior Leadership, hospital executives, and others as necessary.
  • Plans, develops, and administers annual budget for direct report departments.
  • Investigates and justifies significant variances.
  • Develops targets and measures for departmental relationships.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Public Administration.
  • Progressively responsible professional work-related experience, education, or training equivalent to five (5) years of hospital revenue cycle management experience within a large medical center or health system.
  • Two (2) years of management experience.

Qualifications

Knowledge of principles of healthcare reimbursement, accreditation, and grant management.

Knowledge of related federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.

Knowledge of revenue cycle principles and practices.

Skills in effectively managing and leading staff, delegating tasks and authority.

Skills in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects, and demands.

Skills in working within deadlines to complete projects and assignments.

Skills in operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software applications.
