About the role

This is a crucial role for the Manager of Lifestyle Services at CCMC, a community management company. The position involves creating, planning, and executing a strategic lifestyle program that aligns with the community's vision, mission, and values. The role also includes engaging community groups, partners, and residents, and leading the on-site lifestyle services team.

Responsibilities

  • Create, plan, and execute a strategic and comprehensive lifestyle program.
  • Create content and contribute to community communications.
  • Nurture meaningful partnerships and sponsorships with local organizations and businesses.
  • Engage community groups, partners, and residents to understand their needs.
  • Research and maintain relationships with local talent, businesses, publications, and recreational activities.
  • Manage an annual budget for activity income and expenses.
  • Act as a brand ambassador and work with internal work groups and the broader community.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures, and review processes for improvements.
  • Analyze monthly reports for trends and implement program changes as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to create a strong, professional, and symbiotic relationship with the Board of Directors.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and engagement.
  • Full-time hours that are flexible, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working effectively with a resident board and committee members, as well as volunteers.
  • 4-5 years of professional experience in event planning, recreation programming, public relations, or related fields, and 2 years of experience in creating and managing communications.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher, ideally in recreation, communications, journalism, or community development, from an accredited college or university.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

  • Valid state driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies or equipment up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Extended sitting or standing capability for extended periods during meetings or events.
  • Manual dexterity skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
  • Ability to drive vehicles to perform certain job functions.
