Manager Of HR Operations, Strategy & Technology
About the Role
We are expanding our HR Operations Strategy & Technology team. The Manager of HR Operations Strategy & Technology will play a key role in shaping and advancing TJX HR technology and AI strategy while helping drive improvements across HR operations. This role combines strategic vision, operational excellence, and people leadership to translate innovative ideas into measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- HR Technology Strategy & Innovation
- Lead the development and evolution of the HR technology strategy and multi-year roadmap, with a focus on AI-enabled capabilities and innovation.
- Partner with HR Leadership, HR Centers of Excellence, HR Shared Services, and IT to find opportunities to improve associate experience and operational effectiveness.
- Research emerging HR technology and AI trends and recommend solutions that support business objectives.
- Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and prioritization frameworks for HR technology investments and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assess and communicate progress against strategic objectives and expected business outcomes.
- Operational Excellence
- Identify and drive delivery of HR technology and continuous improvement projects for HR and HR Shared Services.
- Evaluate root causes, analyze data, and implement sustainable solutions that improve business performance.
- Collaborate with partners to ensure successful change management, communications, training, and adoption.
- Technology Release Planning & Governance
- Partner with HR Technology and IT teams to evaluate bi-annual platform releases, including Workday and ServiceNow enhancements.
- Assess business impact and prioritize new functionality based on strategic priorities and organizational needs.
- Ensure effective governance and alignment across HR technology initiatives.
- Program & Stakeholder Leadership
- Lead and support delivery of HR technology and operational improvement projects.
- Partner closely with HR Technology, Product, and IT teams to translate strategy into executable initiatives.
- Build solid relationships with internal partners including Heads of COEs and external technology partners to drive innovation and results.
- People Leadership
- Recruit, develop, coach, and lead a high-performing team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, accountability, and innovation.
- Manage performance, development planning, and associate engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in HR, HR Operations, HR Technology, Process Improvement, or related functions.
- Demonstrated experience and confidence influencing senior leaders and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience developing and implementing technology, process improvement, or transformation initiatives.
- Experience working in Agile environments and leading change management efforts.
- Solid knowledge of end-to-end HR processes and service delivery models.
- Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, and related HR technology platforms.
- Knowledge of generative AI and predictive/analytical AI capabilities and applications with ability to evaluate for adoption.
- Continuous improvement expertise, including Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
- Strong analytical, business case development, and financial acumen including budget management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead and develop teams, both direct and indirect reports.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 suite.

Pay
This position has a starting salary range of $117,000.00 to $152,100.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
