Job Summary

The Manager of Emergency Services ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma required; BSN preferred
  • 60 day grace period to apply for FL issued RN license
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
  • Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
  • NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor required must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, or PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, or Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
