Manager of Emergency Services - FSED
Job Summary
The Manager of Emergency Services - FSED ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager of Emergency Services - FSED monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.
Qualifications
Associates Degree in Nursing - required
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing - preferred
1 + years of leadership experience - required
3 + years of Emergency Services experience - required
Registered Nurse - Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation - required
BLS or BCLS - American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire - required
ALS or ACLS – American Red Cross or American Heart Association Provider required within 90 days from date of hire - required
PALS – American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days from date of hire - required
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention required within 90 days from date of hire - required

HCA Florida West Hospital is a 515-bed facility. We are proud to be the area's leading health care facility in quality outcomes performance.
