Manager, Nursing & Patient Care Services - Ambulatory

About the role

Provides supervision of staff, clinical expertise, and oversight of all aspects of operations including patient care, customer service, budget, and risk management. Ensures compliance with organizational and ambulatory care policies, regulations and standards of care and practice and competency of clinical and non-clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Develops, monitors, and engages team members and other resources to improve financial performance, patient experience, quality, safety, access and team member performance.
• Interviews, hires, develops, and retains staff with the goal of developing a highly reliable work team.
• Affords effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adapts leadership style to support achieving department goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license from NC or VA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Two years of nursing experience.
• Previous supervisory/charge experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Level Degree in Nursing.
