About the role

Responsible to manage the delivery of nursing care to a specific patient population on a daily basis while achieving quality clinical outcomes and maximizing the utilization of resources.

Responsibilities

• Create and promote a professional practice environment at the unit level that exemplifies a vision and goals congruent with the Hospital and the respective clinical service line.
• Maximize the utilization of resources.
• Manage the Sunset Hills Education team.
• Assume educator responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Licensure: Current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the state of practice.
• A minimum of three years clinical experience required.
• Past experiences must demonstrate leadership ability, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to apply sound principles of management and supervision.
• Proficient in use of a personal computer and able to analyze complex data from various information systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Actively pursuing a Baccalaureate degree if not currently holding one.
