Job Summary

The Emergency Department at Dignity Health Arizona General Hospial (Goodyear) seeks a dynamic Nursing Manager to lead and empower the nursing team in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include:

• Guiding and mentoring Registered Nurses
• Overseeing clinical operations
• Advocating for patient and team needs
• Managing nursing department resources
• Training and developing staff members
• Scheduling nursing staff
• Maintaining patient care
• Providing nursing care as needed

Responsibilities

To be successful, the Nursing Manager will:

• Lead and mentor Registered Nurses
• Oversee clinical operations
• Advocate for patient and team needs
• Manage nursing department resources
• Train and develop staff members
• Coordinate unit activities
• Assign work to nursing staff
• Provide patient care as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• AZ RN license or Compact State
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience
• One (1) year of leadership experience
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediactric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
